Virtual Dangerous Goods Training Courses
Virtual Training
We are proudly working in partnership with Logicom Hub to offer an extended range of virtual training courses to complement our classroom training. The virtual training courses are run “live” online with a qualified instructor. Each programme follows the same syllabus as our classroom courses but are delivered in short sessions “live” online (4.5 hours each session, with a 15-minute break).
The training duration for virtual and classroom courses are the same, the examinations are invigilated “live” by the instructor at the end of the course.
To attend virtual training, you would need access to a computer with microphone and camera. You would need a quiet space to take the course, without interruptions.
When your booking is confirmed, you will be issued with the joining instructions, these must be read, signed and returned on receipt. This is a legal requirement as the Learner Pack contains an examination paper (in sealed security envelope) which is a controlled and tracked document.
We provide all the training material for the course. These are sent to the delegate by express delivery the week before the training course. The Learner Pack contains a copy of the DG regulations (on loan), a workbook and an examination paper. The examination paper is sent in a security sealed envelope that must not be opened until instructed to do so by our exam invigilator on the last day of the course. You will be asked to confirm the delivery address for the Learner Pack when booking the course.
Immediately after the course, the completed examination paper must be re-sealed in the security envelope and returned to our office, along with the DG regulations. We arrange for these to be collected the next business day. You will find that it takes slightly longer to receive the examination results and certificates for virtual courses, compared to our standard classroom courses. Training packs are received back in our office the week after the course, exams are marked and results are sent out on the Friday.
